Meet Bridget Busacker

Clear answers for women who are tired of being overwhelmed.

I'm Bridget - a women's health communicator with a Master's in Health Communication and ten-plus years of personal charting experience across every season of marriage and motherhood.

I created Managing Your Fertility to be the resource I wished had existed - clear, calm, and evidence-based. No overwhelm. No shame. Just honest information and a clear path forward.

How This Started

We blocked off 45 minutes. It took hours.

When my husband David and I were engaged, we were excited to choose an NFP method. We thought it would be simple.

We scheduled 45 minutes in our calendars because we thought we would just go, look at all the options, pick the one that seemed like the best fit, and move on. Easy.

We were wrong.

What we thought would take 45 minutes turned into hours of research, rabbit holes, and more confusion than we started with. Every method had its own terminology, its own certification bodies, its own learning curve. We kept asking the same questions: How do these actually differ? Which one is right for us? Where do we even find a qualified instructor?

We never found one clear place that answered all of it.

So I built one.

Managing Your Fertility was created to be the resource I wished had existed - a clear, calm, evidence-based starting point for any woman who wants to understand her body, find her method, and move forward with confidence.

My Background

Real credentials. Real commitment.

I hold a Master's degree in Health Communication - a joint program focused on public health with a particular emphasis on women's health. My training taught me how to read peer-reviewed research, evaluate evidence, and translate complex medical information into clear, accessible language that real people can actually use.

That academic foundation is paired with something equally important - personal experience. I have used fertility awareness-based methods throughout every season of my marriage and motherhood. The research and the real life inform each other, and that combination is what makes Managing Your Fertility different.

Around Here

This is what we believe.

01
Your body was designed with wisdom.

Understanding it is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. You were made good - and learning to care for your body well is an act of stewardship, not self-obsession.

02
Evidence matters. Compassion matters more.

Every resource here is grounded in research - but research alone isn't enough. You deserve information delivered with warmth, clarity, and zero judgment for wherever you are starting from.

03
Every woman deserves clear answers.

A trusted guide. A place to ask her questions without shame. No more being dismissed, overwhelmed, or handed a prescription without explanation. You deserve better than that.

This is the space I wished had existed when I was just starting out. I'm so glad you found it.

What Others Are Saying

Trusted by women and professionals.

Our modern world demonizes the body (especially the female body), but God made our bodies good. Bridget's honest and clear approach to sex and sexuality empowers women and couples to understand and even celebrate their bodies, the marital act, and fertility. Bridget does this by combining theology and science in a way that's accessible and certainly makes St. John Paul the Great proud.

Anna Saucier Fertility Awareness Advocate

Managing Your Fertility is an excellent and much-needed resource. It affirms that fertility awareness and NFP are so much more than achieving or postponing pregnancy... this is something that every woman, single or married, needs to know about! If you are a parish or diocese that wants to promote the goodness of God's design, the importance of women's health, and the incredible science behind fertility awareness, Managing Your Fertility is a wonderful place to start!

Deanna Johnston St. Philip Institute

As a priest guiding couples through marriage preparation, I emphasize the importance of understanding Theology of the Body and embracing Natural Family Planning. Managing Your Fertility is an invaluable resource I wholeheartedly endorse - it equips couples with the knowledge and tools they need to honor their marital vows and discern their family size in alignment with God's will. With this resource, women and couples in my parish can confidently embrace their bodies and live out the teachings of the Catholic Church with freedom, joy, and holiness. It's a trustworthy option I highly recommend.

Fr. James Adams Catholic Priest

We have many wonderful and informative websites to choose from, but there is something special about seeing Bridget's friendly face on the screen walking you through and cheering you on. It's like having a really knowledgeable friend in your pocket!
