Mother Mary, we entrust our struggles of fertility awareness to you. It can be so hard to learn how our body works, the way God made us, when the world tells us that our female bodies – our cycle, our fertility – are bad and should be silenced if we want to pursue anything worthy. 

Help us lean into your Son, Jesus, and allow us to relearn the beauty of who we are, including the beauty of our cycles and our fertility as women. 

Guide us, Stella Maris, in choosing the virtues of patience and fortitude as we learn how our bodies work, advocate for ourselves in the doctor’s office, navigate a challenging diagnosis, find answers for pain, journey through heartbreak and loss, discern family size, or struggle to embrace the teachings of the Catholic Church about birth control.

Pray for us to surrender our desire to control and allow your Son to work in our hearts, so that we can surrender our concerns to Him. We need you, Mother Mary, oh beautiful and perfect example of womanhood, to embrace who we truly are and to recognize that we are made beautiful. Our bodies are not a curse. We are not broken.

We are made good. Our bodies are good. 

Come, Holy Spirit, and let the truth of who we are reign in us and through us, changing our hearts and minds to be ever in alignment with you.

Mother Mary, intercessor of fertility awareness & star of the sea, pray for us, guide us, and support us on this journey of charting our cycles, reminding us that we are not alone. Amen.
